Music is one of the most powerful ways to learn about culture, history, and community. Through live performances, interactive demonstrations, and hands-on musical experiences, students will explore the sounds, instruments, rhythms, and traditions that connect people around the world.
Led by local musicians, cultural artists, and performers, these experiences help students understand how music tells stories, celebrates traditions, and brings communities together.
From African drumming and Latin rhythms to global folk traditions and contemporary music, students will experience how music reflects the diverse cultures that make Minneapolis unique.
Recommended Grades: 1–12 in group size up to 30.
